Boxing is my least favourite sport, but we should all be proud that Nicholas 'The Axeman' Walters made history last night, winning the first World Boxing Title - Featherweight Champion - for Jamaica, on Jamaican soil.
The brave Daulis Prescott of Colombia survived a couple of knock-downs to make it to the seventh round, but The Axeman's power was too much for him.
The post-match interview revealed Walters as an articulate athlete, with good knowledge of Spanish! Well done!
