NDM Vice President Apollone Reid gains PhD


Congratulations to Dr. Reid - her dissertation was on “Factors Influencing Voter Behaviour in Two (2) strong garrison Inner-City Communities in Kingston Jamaica”.– can't wait to read.

The National Democratic Movement is pleased to announce that our Vice President  Apollone Reid was officially honoured with her Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration and specialization in Management and Leadership at the 2013 Walden University Commencement ceremony in Minneapolis, Minnesota (17 August 2013).

Dr. Reid's high grade point average (GPA) placed her in the category of summa cum laude. Dr. Apollone Reid was one of 16 chosen from 427 doctoral graduates whose dissertations (research study) were selected for the poster presentation of the Research Symposium that was held at the Minneapolis Convention Centre. In addition Dr. Reid is a nominee for the Best Dissertation Award.

Dr. Reid has pledged to use the experience of her studies to bring about significant social change in Jamaica.
