Stars sparkle at Digicel Downtown HQ

What a fantastic event last night - as Digicel honoured three of their Brand Ambassadors. Olympic Stars Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Usain Bolt and Paralympian Alphanso Cunningham were lauded for bringing glory to Jamaica in the World Championships, Diamond League and Paralympics outings earlier this year.
Adding to the dazzle was the surprise appearance of 'The Voice' sensation Tessanne Chin who thrilled with her hits and sang the famous 'Try' accapella.
It was a gathering of Jamaica's Who's Who and an affirming evening for Digicel who Usain thanked for consistently supporting him even in the early days when critics were questioning his ability.
Digicel Jamaica CEO Barry O'Brien compared Jamaica's Olympic record to his home country Ireland and admitted to being somewhat star-struck. Digicel Marketing Manager Conor Looney surprised us with his ska moves when he joined Tessanne on stage. Emcee and Digicel Ambassador Yendi Phillips upped her creds as one of our most dynamic comperes.
Adding to the sparkle were Ministers Lisa Hanna, Natalie Neita Headley, Digicel's Heather Asphall, Trisha Williams-Singh, Tahnida Nunes, sports leaders Mike Fennell and wife Peggy, Marva Bernard and hubby Mike, Lorna Bell, Molly Rhone, Bruce James, Capt Horace Burrell, Coach Michael Clarke and wife Olga, celebrities Miss Kitty,'It Couple' Tami Chynn and Wayne Marshall, Anthony Miller, Gassan Azan, Tina and Gary Matalon, Ali McNab, Bernard Henry, Gary Allen, David McBean, Hubert Lawrence and a host of other wonderful folks. Jacqui Tyson served up great bites and Digicel once again proved themselves to be the hosts with the most!
