STGC mourns Spl. Const. Jermaine Bartley

By Dr Lloyd Tenn
Sadly, we have to report that 26-year-old Special Constable Jermaine Bartley was murdered three days ago in Irwin, St. James. He is an STGC graduate and was in the Force for the last four years.

He was at home in Irwin with his girlfriend when three gunmen pounced on them. They demanded his gun and ransacked his home. In a symbol of ultimate degradation, one of the gunmen put on his bullet proof vest, ordered him and his girlfriend to kneel and hug each other before shooting them in the head multiple times. He died on the spot while his girlfriend is fighting for her life.

There is a $1m reward for information leading to the arrest and capture of the gunmen.

This must be very painful for his family. Pray the recovery of his girlfriend.

May his soul rest in peace.
